Just a simple question
I'm new to GvG and after watching a few battles, i noticed something. there isn't many assassins or dervishes in GvG. i can't seem to think why aren't they used much in GvG so i've decided to ask for help here. Help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Not an expert, but seems like warriors are simply more reliable in pvp. They have 100 armor as opposed to the 70 sins and dervs have, and they aren't as vulnerable to enchant removal like those 2 classes are. Except for a very few specific builds, they're not commonly used.

find something they can do better than a warrior, other than spam bleeding and deep wounds. Also ]aS] (brackets are the wrong way round i know) use a build with a derv in it every now and again.

assassins are hardly seen because getting the whole chain off is difficult with how many counters there are. [aura of stability] for example is brought on most protection monks.
Dervs actually used to be meta bringing [avatar of grenth] for a period of time until it was nerfed and [avatar of melandru] until VoD was removed.

Warriors are used because they are more balanced and can fit more utility than a Dervish and/or Assassin, such as a 3 second knockdown. If Dervishes and/or Assassins are used in a team build, they are usually Wounding Strike and/or Palm Strike in a gimmick build.

Dervs aren't used because Primal Rage exists.
Sins aren't used because rangers that can do 500 damage with 16 block stances exist.
Also both sins and dervs have been nerfed a ton and aren't nearly as effective anymore.

Sins chains are powerful, but unreliable, on block, or blind and ur spike fails. And when they arent spiking, they are either doing nothing, or are essentially squishies in the frontline.
Dervs on the otherhand, have a more powerful weapon at their disposal, with some decent spiking power. However its been nerfed a bit through time as their overpowered skilsl were nerfed. The reason dervs arent so popular, is their access to IAS requires either their elite, or isnt permanent. Warriors have access to frenzy, and primal rage. Two very powerful skills when canceled effectively.

If you were around to see sinsplit, teleporting derv spike, avatar of grenth, avatar of melandru, you'd see why.
Right now Sins are used only with smiters; they do lots of damage and back-to-back Kd's with a snare (palm strike has a low low recharge). But they have low armor, are easy to prot against and don't have the pressure capability of a warrior; which is where smiters come in (triple RoJ on a KD/Snared foe+Reversal of Damage for the squishy sin).
Dervs are less common; they don't offer anything but straight DPS. They are extinct in GvG, I see them once in awhile in HA paired with AoE Eles or AoE Hexes.
